Ultra-precision wire wound resistors

Towcester – UK – May 2009: Variohm EuroSensor has added a new line of ultra-precision printed circuit resistors to its range of high quality discrete components. Aimed firmly at demanding fixed-resistor applications in process control, medical electronics and high-end instrumentation, the 0.25W rated RX255N from USA based resistive product specialists Precision Resistor Company is available from 0.1O to 150KO and ticks all the right performance boxes with resistance holding tolerances up to ±0.005% and Temperature Coefficient of Resistance (TCR) characteristics as low as ±1 ppm/ºC.  Furthermore the wire wound range has a Stability vs. Time factor to ±0.001% per year at 25ºC, and a wide working temperature range of 65°C to +125°C.

Also available are the RX258N and RX378N series ultra-precision printed circuit resistors for 0.33W and 0.5W ratings with similar technical characteristics. All are based on a 0.2" lead spacing and feature a stress free base coat as well as an epoxy casing that is resistant to solder heat and solvents.
